Experience and Education

Julie Lynch is a dedicated acupuncturist with a passion for holistic health and wellness. With a specialty in pain management, women’s health, facial rejuvenation, and digestive wellness, Julie offers a caring and individualized approach to help her clients feel their best—body, mind, and spirit.

Julie began her journey in the healing arts as a massage therapist, where she spent over ten years helping people relax and recover. Eager to expand her ability to support others, Julie pursued a Master’s degree in Acupuncture from Northwestern Health Sciences University, graduating cum laude. She also studied at the Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, deepening her knowledge of traditional healing practices.

Julie joined the Army Reserves when she was just 17 years old, an experience that instilled in her a deep sense of discipline, resilience, and service to others. Her time in the military had a lasting impact, inspiring her to work closely with fellow veterans and expand access to integrative healthcare for underserved communities.

That passion led Julie to found the MN Acupuncture Collective, a nonprofit organization committed to providing affordable acupuncture—especially to military veterans and those who otherwise struggle to access care. Through this work, she continues to serve her community with the same dedication she brought to her military service.

In addition to her recognition by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Julie is licensed in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. She has been practicing acupuncture professionally since 2013, and her expertise extends beyond acupuncture—Julie is also a licensed esthetician, having completed her training in skin therapy in 2012. She’s especially skilled in the Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture System, which she uses to help clients achieve natural, rejuvenated skin.

Julie’s extensive clinical experience includes working in diverse settings such as hospitals, community clinics, and private practice. She’s led a community acupuncture program with HealthPartners and has worked with patients at Fairview Riverside Hospital, Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute, and the Pillsbury Integrative Community Clinic. With 200 hours of yoga teacher training under her belt, Julie incorporates personalized exercises into her acupuncture treatments to help clients achieve lasting wellness.

When she’s not practicing acupuncture, Julie enjoys spending time with her partner and their combined four children, repotting house plants, playing video games, hosting get-togethers with friends, and is always working on too many projects to keep count.
